Can I appear for NET exam with management subject?

I am an arts graduate. I opted for english and political Science subjects. I completed my MBA in finance and marketing.

    You are eligible to appear for NET examination based on your MBA degree if degree is awarded by a UGC recognized university.

    You are eligible to appear for UGC NET if you score 55% in your Master's degree from a recognised university.
