Can I appear for UGC NET exam?
I have done M.A. In psychology from IGNOU, but I am a BHMS graduate (5 and 1/2 years) from Health University, West Bengal. I didn't opt for UG in psychology.

Well if you wish to go ahead for Ph.D. you can go ahead with Lovely professional university for your programme. LPU offers flexible coursework options-
1) Classes on weekends (Saturday & Sunday only)
2) 4 days course work every month (Preferably every second week: Thu-Sun)
3)15 days course work (November/December)
The eligibility is:
Masters degree with 55% aggregate marks in a relevant discipline or equivalent, subject to clearing LPU NEST and Interview. 5 years agoFor applying UGC exam, first of all you have to be eligible. The eligibility is 55% aggregate marks in Post Graduation in a general Candidate category and people with reserved category/Female candidates gets 5% relaxation in eligibility. You should note that, you should prepare with full zeal to REAP good results. As UGC is a competition which not only depends upon your efforts but also depends upon the efforts of other competitors and the level of exam. So, you should be ready with Plan B.
