Can I apply in IIM with 76% in 10th, 84% in 12th and 64% in B.Com? What percentile in CAT will I need to enter in IIM?
-
Hello! Since the IIMs consider the overall profile of the candidates before shortlisting them for the interview rounds, the CAT score alone won't be given much importance. For the old IIMs, a score of 99+ percentile should be sufficient to get a call. And, for the new ones, 95+ percentile should suffice. All the best.

7 years agoHi Arunabh,You can get a call from an IIM, only if you clear all the sectional cutoffs and overall too. 99+ percentile is recommended to increase the chances of getting a call from the top most IIMS. Though, it is difficult to predict the chances of getting calls from them since not only marks and percentages, but the overall background and CAT score matters here. However, you can use the following link to get an approximate idea. https://www.shiksha.com/mba/resources/iim-call-predictor
Hope it helps. All the best. -

For students not appearing in JEE, Class 12 performance, particularly in PCM subjects, becomes the primary eligibility criterion, alongside CUCET scores for CSE programs. This dual-focus system allows students with strong 12th marks but no JEE score to secure admission, while rewarding JEE participants with merit a
