The NEET UG Counselling is an online and offline process. The NEET UG exam qualified candidates need to register online at mcc. nic. in to participate in the counselling process. Students also need to declare choice for college and course for seat allotment online. After seat allotment, candidates have to report to allotted institute for document verification. The institute reporting is an offline process wherein candidates need to visit the institute allocated to them for confirmation of their admission.
The MCC has announced a total of six rounds for NEET UG Counselling 2025 process so far. The round 1, round 2, round 3 and stray rounds were held for MBBS, BDS, BSc and other seats. However, MCC NEET round 5 and 6 are being held for BDS and BSc Nursing.
The MCC has not started the registration for NEET UG 2025 round 5 counselling yet. As per the schedule, the round 5 registration will begin on January 1, 2026. Registration has to be done at mcc.nic.in. Last date for round 5 registration is January 2, 2026. Choice filling deadline is the same as well.
The Panjab University NEET UG Cutoff 2025 has been announced for all rounds and categories for admission to the MBBS course. The University accepts the NEET rank for enrolment to the MBBS programme. The cutoff for the General AI candidates in the last round closing ranks was 690. On the other hand, the cutoff for the OBC AI candidates for admission to the MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery was 11273.
