Can I get a good private engineering college in Kolkata for B.Tech with CSE with 13000 TFW rank in WBJEE?

My WBJEE general rank is 49000.

    Yes, you can get a private college, but you cannot get the top private college as TFW seats, the college takes high ranks of this quota.

According to WBJEE domicile requirement, students should have been staying in West Bengal continously for atleast 10 years, as of admission year. If not, then their parents should be permanent residents of state.

The Calcutta University WBJEE Cutoff 2025 was released for admission to the BTech programme. According to the Calcutta University BTech Cutoff 2025, the cutoff in the last round ranged from 980 to 5256 for the General category candidates under the All India quota. Among all the BTech specialisations, the hardest for admission was B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering, and B.Tech. in Jute and Fibre Technology, the easiest.

Jadavpur University WBJEE Cutoff 2025 was published for admission to the BE/ BTech/BPharma courses for all categories of students belonging to the AI and HS quota. For the General category candidates under the AI quota, the BE course cutoff in the last round ranged from 78 to 5435, wherein, B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering was the toughest course for admission and B.E. in Architectural Engineering, the easiest in comparison.
