If you belong to a reserved category, then you can easily get admission there but if you don't belong to a reserved category, then you can't get the college. -
The only criteria to get admission in BIT in BE courses is your JEE Mains rank. Nothing else can get you a seat in BIT, if your Mains rank is below par.
