Yes, you can take the admissions as their is not such boundation to switch between different branches. Though get a 60 percent in your Diploma and qualify for admissions or score more than 70 percent and then you can directly take the admissions. Moreover, as a simple advice ask yourself why are you taking aeronautics and leaving mechanical. This decision can be crucial as you have spent three important years of your life learning that.
