Can I get admission in LPU if I got 76% in 12th,114 in JEE Mains and 74 in NATA qualified?

Engineering programmes are the heart of any institution and so is of LPU. On inquiring for one of my niece from the counsellors of LPU, I came to know that in order to take admission in LPU you have to be eligible and eligibility is The eligibility criteria is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 with English and also 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics OR Pass with 60% in Diploma (any stream) (3 years) recognized by Central/ State Govt. (with Mathematics) or equivalent, subject to qualifying marks in NATA 2020 or JEE Main (Paper-II)(80 percentile or above) or qualifying marks in any specially designed aptitude test in Architecture conducted by the competent authority of the Central/ State Governments (as/ if allowed by the statutory body for 2020-21). You should be happy to know that LPU has been ranked top 80 amongst all private and government institutions by NIRF, MHR, GOI. Not only this, the Engineering institutes have also been ranked top 100 amongst all other Engineering institute which is a matter of proud. You can join LPU by appearing in LPUNEST which is remotely online proctored test which will be conducted from home due to COVID-19. (5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmiri Migrants) The Admission Criteria for the same is Merit prepared with weightage of 50% marks for aptitude tests (NATA 2020 or JEE Main (Paper II)) and 50% marks in the qualifying examination. Moreover, LPU offers different types of scholarships on the basis of marks in either of the last two qualifications, LPUNEST, Sports, Defence, COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship, and many more. If you are eligible for more than one scholarship, only one scholarship you will get is the maximum one. Dear Abhay, I want to update you regarding current term of admission-2020 in LPU. LPU is the best university of India with top placements and world class infrastructure. LPU has more than 200 courses and every course has certain eligibility criteria to be fulfilled by a candidate get admission. Due to COVID-19, LPU supports admission to his students by online mode with certain changes in process. I suggest you to visit university website or call on their toll free number for more information and beginning of admission process. LPU is also offering various scholarships to students in this pandemic situation. The scholarships such as COVID-19 front line scholarship to service mans and their wards, scholarship on best one out of last two qualifications of a student, LPU NEST Sports person, ward of defense personal are offered by LPU. You are eligible based on your 12th marks and LPU considers minimum 80 percentile for direct admission in LPU.

Hi, First of all, you have to mention whether 114 in JEE Main (Paper II) is percentile or not. The Eligibility Criteria for B.Arch. is passed with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 with English and also 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics OR Pass with 50% in Diploma (any stream) (3 years) recognized by Central/ State Govt. (with Mathematics) or equivalent, subject to qualifying marks in NATA 2019 or JEE Main (Paper II) (80 percentile or above) or qualifying marks in any specially designed aptitude test in Architecture conducted by the competent authority of the Central/ State Governments (as/ if allowed by the statutory body for 2019-20). To take admission in B.Arch. in LPU you have to qualify either NATA or JEE Main (Paper II). You have to choose any one of these two to take direct admission in LPU. Now, on the basis of JEE Main (Paper II), to be eligible for admission a student must score minimum 80 percentile or more than this. So, If a student scores 80 percentile or more in JEE Main (Paper II), then he/ she can get direct admission on the basis of JEE Main (Paper II). If you have qualified NATA then on the basis of it, you also can take direct admission. One more important thing, LPU also offers a scholarship on the basis of JEE Main (Paper II) and NATA also. Sorry but your chances are too less to get admission in IPU. Your NATA score is 74 but admissions through NATA are considered above 90 marks.
