If you have 62% in 10+2. You are eligible for most of the programs at LPU. For B.Tech you need to write LPU NEST too. For all others you may visit the website and check your eligibility and take admission online at the portal itself. However I would like to make one more important point, choose your programme carefully as per your interests. And also your 10th marks can be of a significance as the scholarships can be availed on basis of performance in last two qualifications. There are more than 200 programs to choose from, I suggest you check your aptitude first here

It would have been lot easier if you had mentioned the course you are interested in. With 62% in 12th you can get admission to few of the courses like B.A. BBA (Tourism & Hospitality), B.Sc. (Hotel Management), B.A. LL.B. (Hons. )etc. . for other courses like in engineering etc. You need to have good percentage in 12 as well as you have to clear LPU NEST exam.

Candidates seeking B.Tech study or any other undergraduate programs at LPU must apply through LPUNEST or show JEE Main exam results or demonstrate 12th-grade scores. Your exam results exceed the minimal requirement of 60% established as the eligibility criteria of many programs at LPU.

Hi, In order to take admission in LPU for a maximum of the courses, the percentage required in 10+2 is 60% along with that subjects of study are also mentioned and the candidate needs to appear for LPU NEST Exam. In order to take admission in any course you need to qaulify the eligibility criteria and along with that you need to appear for LPU NEST which depends of the domain that you are planning to take admission. Yes, there is a cut off for LPU NEST for every course that you need to attain to get an admission into that course. A gap of 1 to 2 years after 12th can be considered normal. Although the students should be able to address it via the valid documents. The reasons like health, finance, skill development or family are accepted.

And if the gap after the high school Diploma is beyond 2 years, strong documentation is required to justify the same. The documents like which shows productivity for which an SOP can serve great purposes.

Yes, it should not be hard for you to get admission to the University of Western Australia as an Indian student with 50% in class 12th. However, please note that it does not put you in the top applicants either. The general admission percentage requirement for international students is 50 to 65%.

Look at the other admission requirements -

  • English proficiency tests with IELTS (bands 6.5) or TOEFL iBT (82+)
  • High school Diploma from a recognised board like CBSE or ICSE etc.
  • Some course-specific subjects for Engineering programs

Top universities require a minimum of 80-90% in your 12th-grade board exams.

  • Average universities often accept students with 60-75%.
  • For highly competitive courses like Medicine, cut off is usually higher.
  • Strong SAT/ACT scores can also compensate for a slightly lower board percentage.
