It is highly unpredictable to know what branch will be allotted on what rank. Moreover, one cannot refer to yesteryears allotment trends, as the number of seats, applicants, qualifiers, actual attendees and branch preferences are changing every year. There has been a shift in branch preferences over past few years. UPES though is a pioneer in Oil & Gas but has gradually diversified in various other sectors and trust me they are doing exceptionally good in other sectors as well.
