6 years agoHello Shivam, it's nice to see your enthusiasm and dream of seeking admission in Vishwakarma Institute of Technology in Pune which is very famous for its computer science courses. But I am afraid your scoring in JEE Mains is not going to help your in getting admission in this Institute. This is so because this Institute admits students based on the ranking obtained in entrance exam conducted by the government of Maharashtra called MHT CET. Hi Shivam, One of my friends had scored around 80 percentile at our time of JEE. He was from an ews category and he had got an admission in VIT, Pune for e&tc branch. You have the same category. Just make sure that you have an income certificate and other necessary certificates along with as well. Even if you don't get your desired branch in the first round, then wait for the second one. You might get it in the last round, I guess. Keep applying for other colleges as well. I hope this helps. All the Best! -
Yes, there are 50:50 chances that you get admissions in VIT, because, most of the students with top percentiles are looking for NIT's or other top institutes. But, VIT isn't much needed college. So, you have a chance to get it.
