Can I get CSE in B.Tech honors? Which one to choose among LPU and JIIT?

I have got 703 AIR in LPUNEST. I'm also getting scholarship in LPU.

Aryan, fill your seat preferences after opening your account. Seat allocation will be visible to you by May 10, 2017. Surely will be able to get CSE branch, in case you don't get you can go for next round of counselling.

Though both the colleges are good in academics but LPU is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Lately, number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. In order to get admission in CSE there is an eligibility criteria that needs to be fulfilled by the student. For B.Tech (CSE) the eligibility includes 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) + LPUNEST. For B.Tech CSE (Hons) 70% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics )+ LPUNEST. Hello Aryan, LPU is an outstanding place to pursue your studies. I have experienced in LPU as a student and I learned plenty of things during my graduation. LPU provides the beautiful infrastructure and all required resources to students and staff. Yes, the LPU NET sample paper will be released separately for all streams. The sample paper will be released on the official website. The candidates can download sample paper from official website.

How can candidates apply for LPUNEST slot booking?

Candidates must visit official website, nest.lpu.in and log in by entering Email ID/ Mobile Number/ Application Number and Password and clicking on Log in. Click on LPUNEST slot booking option, available slots will be displayed on screen. Only candidates who have submitted application and fee payment can do slot booking. Select preferred centre, city, date and time for exam, and save preferences. Reservations will be made on a first come, first served basis. LPU NEST slot booking must be done at least 3 days before date of exam.

How is LPUNEST slot booking done by the University itself?

For a candidate who fails to complete Slot Booking before specified deadline, university books a slot for that candidate. Candidates must specify 5 choices of test centres in application form. LPU may book any of preferred slots for the candidate, depending on availability. In case none of the preferred slots of the candidate is available, another slot may be allotted by the university.
