Can I get CSE or ECE in NSIT, DTU or IIITD with JEE Mains 2018 general rank 27700 and OBC-NCL rank 6609 (outside Delhi)?

    The chances of getting into these colleges in core branches at this rank is quite low but I'll prefer you to not to lose hope and appear for the counselling till the last round may be possible that you can get admission in some good branch.

    With this rank, I think you would get NSIT Instrumentation branch for sure in 2nd or 3rd round slight chance for ECE in last rounds though chance of CSE is slightest. For other colleges also, you have less chance for CSE and ECE.

    The chances of getting admission at this rank are very low, if you are from Delhi then I could have guaranteed your admission. But as you are from outside Delhi region so I can't assure your admission in any of the above colleges. I'd better suggest you to go for any state government college in your state that gives admission on the basis of JEE Mains rank and also apply for NITs separately through JoSAA.

After you doenload the JEE Mains admit card, you have to:

  1. Paste a photo (same as the one uploaded in the online form before reaching the exam centre).
  2. Do signature (on the exam day, in presence of invigilator)
  3. Put left hand thumb impression  (before reaching the exam centre)
