Yes, candidates passing Class 12 with at least 80% aggregate are eligible for direct admission to BTech course. Such candidates do not have appear for any entrance exam and can directly participate in document verification. Aspirants who are not eligible for direct admission have to pass AMCAT or JEE Main or National/ State Entrance Exam or CUET UG. For BTech Biotechnology, candidates can apply with a NEET score also.

BTech is a four-year course divided into eight semesters. Amity University Mumbai offers BTech in 11 specialisations through the Amity School of Engineering & Technology, Mumbai and Amity Institute of Biotechnology, Mumbai. Amity Mumbai also offers BTech (3 Continent) in three specialisations. The university also offers BTech + M.Tech (Dual) in Biotechnology for five years.
