CGC (Chandigarh group of colleges) is a group of colleges for various courses like B.Tech, MBA, BCA Hotel management etc. Admission process in CGC varies according to courses. But there is one common process for all ( for management quota seats) I. e. Based on your previous academics, for example if you want to opt for B.Tech in CEC (One of the engineering colleges ) which branch you can opt depends on your 12th board examination result. In which can select CEC or CGC-COE according to your priorities. After counseling list of you got selected then go their n get admission. Any student of CGC can book seat for tier sibling/ cousin or relative or someone known when they pass-out their 10th standard. Means you can book seat 2 year before your college starts. There was certain conditions with this but yet it was a good way to ease admission process. I don't know it is still their or not. You can get direct admission in Chandigarh university also. The admission in Chandigarh University does not require any entrance exam clearance. You just have to pass 12th for admission in graduate courses. For admission you have to enroll on the CU website and pay 10k or more via online payment and visit the university with required documents, the amount taken will be deducted from the admission fee. Or you can directly visit CU with 10th,12th marksheet, migration, character certificates, etc. And take admission without any online enrollment. You can give the exam of the university called CUSAT for scholarships. CU has been ranked 1st Among Private Engineering Institutes of North India THE OUTLOOK. Chandigarh University is emerging as best educational institute in india, NAAC A+ accredited university, international recommended, industry-oriented curriculum, qualified doctorate faculty with impeccable research record. I have seen my seniors being set at lofty associations with fulfilling bundles.

When I was in second year (fourth semester) of my B.Tech I. e. in 2015, we were asked to book seat for our siblings and cousins those passing their 10th in 2015 I. e. we were asked to book seat for 2017 batch. Key point was. Any student of CGC can book seat for tier sibling or cousin or relative or someone known when they pass out their 10th standard. Means you can book seat 2 year before your college starts. There was certain conditions with this but yet it was a good way to ease admission process. I do not know it is still their or not. You can Verify this with college management. And if we talk about scholarship their are various Scholarship you can check those on Tier website. CGC landrans admission procedure is very simple, you can either apply online or offline by filling the admission form, it can further have councelling depending upon which course you are opting for and for engineering students it accept JEE Mains marks and for which it provides scholarship too addition to it, it also give scholar ship to st sc caste students.
