Admission to Delhi Technological University (DTU) and Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT, formerly known as NSIT) for B.Tech programs is based on JEE Main scores and JAC Delhi counselling. The cutoff ranks for admission vary every year and depend on several factors like the number of applicants, the exam difficulty, and the availability of seats. In general, it is difficult to get admission to DTU and NSUT with AJEE Main percentile of 60 in the General-EWS category. However, the cutoffs vary every year, and you may have a chance depending on the other factors mentioned above. Check the official websites of DTU and NSUT to kno

It is difficult to definitively say whether you can get into DTU or NSIT (NSUT) with a 60 percentile in JEE Mains (assuming you are referring to the General-EWS category) because the cutoff ranks fluctuate every year. Generally Competitive: Getting admitted to DTU and NSIT, especially for the most sought-after branches like Computer Science Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering, is competitive with a 60 percentile in the General-EWS category. Factors Affecting Cutoffs: The cut-off ranks depend on several factors including:

      • Number of applicants
      • Difficulty level of the JEE Mains exam that year

JAC Delhi handles DTU BTech counselling. Taking JEE Mains is the primary requirement for admission to the BTech programme. Candidates must receive good scores in the JEE Mains, or at least a 220 or higher, in order to be admitted to DTU. The projected JEE MAINS percentile needed for admission to NSIT (NSUT) is 75–76 percentile in Gen-EEWS. The NSUT cutoff for a BTech in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence) ended at 3255 in the prior year, 363 in 2022, and 1300 in 2021. 75 is considered a rough percentile for GEN EWS category students in JEE MAINS exam.

Yes, you qualify for DTU if you received a 60% in your 12th grade.

However, admission is primarily determined by your JEE Main rank rather than your grades.

You have to attend JAC Delhi counseling after JEE.

Therefore, you can get DTU CSE/IT if your JEE score is high.

If your rank is low, you might have to look at other colleges or get a different branch.

Yes, securing an acceptable score in JEE Mains is necessary to get admission into the BTech course at DTU. Moreover, before appearing in the examination, applicants must ensure that they have qualified for the minimum eligibility requirements first. Ongoing, for the admission conclusion, the university accepts the candidates who have been selected in the JAC counselling.
