GRE is a computer based test meant to measure your overall academic ability and is the standard exam for admission to non-business schools. However, an increasing number of business schools are accepting scores from the GRE exam.
The computer based test can be taken multiple times a year. The paper based test can be taken up to 3 times a year in October, November, and February.
The duration of the test is about 3 hours and 45 minutes (includes 1-minute breaks after each section and a 10-minute break after the third section).
