Dear Friend, I did M.Tech in EE from LPU and I had one friend from M.Tech in CSE. As per my knowledge, the classes hours for M.Tech vary as per the coursework. But the classes are normally 56 hours per day, Sometimes, it's 34 hours, In the 3rd and 4th semesters, you have research work and it would be totally dependent on you how much time you spend but you need to report your supervisor once or twice a week. I recommend you report your supervisor twice a week. Hope this helps.

In my experience, M.Tech CSE at LPU usually has regular classes where you attend lectures, labs, and seminars spread across the day, but it's not overly packed like school. Most days you'll have a mix of theory and practical sessions that fit into a normal college timetable, leaving time for self-study, projects, and research. How much you actually learn depends on how you manage that time.

In some semesters, especially during project or dissertation phases, classroom hours may be fewer, with more emphasis on independent research, lab work, and faculty guidance. Overall, the timetable is designed to balance academic rigor with research and practical
