If you and friends want hostel at the same time then you can apply at the same time then only it is possible otherwise you have to apply earlier and contact with the staff so that they can help you in this matter because, at the time of admission, rooms are allocated randomly, but still, you can request the hostel department if anything is possible because due to a large number of admissions, there can be an issue with the desired hostel availability but if possible the hostel department will let you know. Incase you are an existing student then in that case when hostel booking opens, (March/April) you can choose the same hostel room f

As per my knowledge, Roommates for freshers are allotted randomly based on first come first serve basis. Still you want to book with your friend, I would say you a drop a email to residential department or admissions department. After completion of your first year rooms will be available for you to choose. But there are many students to take the rooms at same time. To reduce this LPU conducts two rounds to choose rooms. First round for all honours and CGPA above 8 students and second round for all other students. You can select room of your choice and take with your friends too. At the end of the first academic session, we are asked to

Being a hosteler, I would say, Roommates are not friends not family but they're more than that and do create a different category in our heart. I can feel the excitement in people who are looking forward to starting their hostel life in Lovely Professional University. Well, it is quite easy and difficult at the same time there two option though which you can do that. Mutual Shifting
Ask your roommate/your friends' roommate to exchange his seat with yours/your friends. Go To the warden office and submit a mutual shifting form available in UMS. Once, he approves it, you both can get the same hostel room.
    2. Hostel Booking
when hostel booking opens, (March/April) you can choose the same hostel room for you and your friends depending on your CGPA (8.0 and above can book a room first, followed by 7.0 and below). You must know your friend's UMS ID and Password for booking the same hostel room for next year.

The top courses of LPU, which also enjoy excellent rank lists, placement, and popular demands, comprise of B.Tech CSE (strong in AI/ML with 90% + placements), MBA (₨49 LPA peak, industry-aligned), BBA (Hons.), BA LLB (focus on practice), and B.Sc. programs in biotech/nutrition. Hey, so for LPU's end-term exam in Physical Education, you need at least 30% marks in the end-term itself, plus an overall 40% combining continuous assessment and end-term. That's the standard across their PE programs, and they've got a cool holistic review if you hit the aggregate but miss the end-term bit—super fair way to keep things student-friendly. Attendance stays key at 75% min, which makes sense for staying active in sports stuff. LPU really nails this balance, helping folks like us push through without harsh cutoffs, way better for building real fitness skills. No wonder it's a top pick—keeps motivation high and stress lo

Hey guys, so I checked the official LPU site for the BPEd course fee, and for the first year, it's around INR1 Lacs to INR1.09 lakhs, covering tuition at INR50,000 per semester plus exam fees of about INR4,500-INR5,000 each. That's super reasonable for a top-notch programme with awesome sports facilities and scholarships up to 60% if you score well in LPUNEST—like INR96,000 off per semester for high performers. LPU really makes it accessible without compromising quality, way better value than many places I've seen. Total for two years is INR2-2.18 lakhs, but first-year payment is straightforward via UPI or whatever. If you're into ph
