YES, you can get admission in Chandigarh University after doing 1st year from some other university but you need to follow some policies laid by this university. For Post graduate courses no migration is allowed but in case of under graduate courses migration will be restricted to the 3rd semester. No student will be migrated if he/she has a reappear in any subject of previous University from where he/she is migrated

Yes, but only after 1st year not after 2nd year . That too is possible only if that other desired college is open to migration and yes CU has this option. You will have to be on your toes always to seek such kind of migration because there is a lot that goes around to make it possible. Also make sure that your academic profile for the first year is decent enough to appeal to them so that they do not hesitate to show faith in you. I'm simply & honestly going to explain if Chandigarh University is either a best option for this course or not. As a student of CU I'm well aware of its structure & programs ran by time-to-time. I'm not going to bore you with course features & details here. Also I live with other students from different cources & used to hear complaints about their respective field. But come on! Everybody does that, except me I love my course as well as my University. So as a institution CU is sure a good environment to study & develop some very important years of your life. And I think the most accurate programs here includes Hotel Management, Aerospace Engineering, Management & Sports as well. If you're considering Chandigarh University for B.Com Honours I can assure you it's a fine destination to shape your commerce skills aa you will find a way better curriculum here then anywhere, regular competitions, chances to come forward, industrial interaction programs, as well and festivals celebrations. I'm also from commerce field so I can understand how it's feel when the both side of Trial Balance doesn't match or when the 4th option of Tariffs and Quotas gets off from mind (basically the frustation) so I will advice you as a student who's going to take a programme & not clear about it. If you're not sure that you are willing to give your own extra time to your course apart from institution's curriculum a little precisely don't opt for CU. I mean you will get away with the course of-course & good job will also be there but if you're focusing on some back-up program as well then I think maybe Chandigarh University is not a foremost choice for you.
