This would depend on her interest areas and career aspirations. In case she intends to pursue a career in Technical / research / academics area then M.Tech/ MS ( IT) is better, However if you want to move into general management the MBA is better.

It's nice that she wants to go for MBA she has some options regarding this, either can she opt for MBA in India or go for foreign. But talking about Inda she can sit in CAT examination which does not ask so much of a profile or extra curricular but yes your percentile score in that exam must be really high, which means it needs a lot of hardwork other option in government sector is ISB Hyderabad which offers one year of B.Tech programme but only to students who have 2-3 years of work experience so if she wants to apply she can search about it. Rest options are in the private sector which offer scholarship on the basis of CAT score.

See, for that, IIMs are the best but these institutes are the ones in which everyone doesn't get admission.
So I would advise you to ask her to join any of the coaching institutes and then try her best for the CAT exam. If she is not able to get IIMs, then she can go for IITs as they also offer MBA course.

Hello Rakesh, to go for MBA or not can be compared with the Shakespearen dilemma. These days engineering graduates are in almost every field. This qualification gives one a better chance of heading the organization later in life. But on the other hand one becomes a generalist as against a specialist. However the best option out of two is allow your daughter to choose what she fascinates for.
