  • Dear student, for normal BBA program LPUNEST-2018 cutoff is 40% but for BBA(Hons.) program it is not finalized yet for this year. Usually for every Hons. program, the cutoff is 10% more than that of a normal program.

No cut-off is specified by the university as it varies from programme to programme. Also the parameters like number of candidates appearing for the exam, marks obtained etc decides the cut-off of LPU-NEST for particular programme.
For qualifying LPU-NEST you need to score minimum marks of 30-40%.

Of course, the minimum quota depends on your decision to study or not, or the entrance exam for that study. Therefore, we should mention streams first.

Hi Gitanjali, as far as I know there is only the basic criteria of above 50% marks in 10+2. There is no cutoffs.

For B.Tech, the 12 marks should be 60% and above out of 400. and the cut-off for LPUNEST is 120.

The cut off percentage obviously depends here on the basis of stream opting for, or the entrance exam for that particular stream. So, you will have to mention your stream first.

The cut-off depends upon the mode of admission and moreover, the stream in which a student is willing to take admission into. For engineering, you should be a Mains qualified for admission or an LPUNEST nest qualified student. NEST stands for National Entrance cum Scholarship Test, conducted by university nationwide every year. Similarly, for BBA aspirants, LPUNEST is compulsory and for MBA, your Bachelor's degree marks are taken into account. Moreover, for any of the courses, you need atleast 60% marks in your 12th standard which is mandatory. Thank you. Feel free to ask anything.

LPUNEST's cutoff depends upon the number of students who appeared and qualified the exam. It may vary and the cutoff which is mentioned on the website is tentative.

Dear, LPU offers 200+ programmes and B.Tech is one of them. To get into LPU's B.Tech, you need to pass 10+2 with Physics, Math, and English (or equivalent) with at least 60% aggregate, plus qualify in the LPUNEST entrance exam (or show strong JEE Main/CUET scores). Specific streams like CSE-Software Product Engineering have extra steps like a KQ Test and Interview.
