    Hi Shaik Azeem,
You have a decent score but backed up by good past academic record, so if you apply for N L Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research you will definitely get a interview call because here we don't have any minimum cutoff for interview call, but as entrance exam contains a good weightage of selection process so you need to perform well in GD/PI. Selection will be based purely on merit, which will be evaluated out of 100 marks as below:
    1. Entrance test score I. e. CAT or XAT or CMAT or MH-CET or MAT or ATMA Score (We will convert your percentile to our grading scale as per our admission criteria) 40 marks

You will not get a good score through CMAT entrance, as your score is very low.

    Hi,
You have good academic scores, but your CMAT score is very low. I will suggest you to apply with some other score such as CAT XAT or GMAT. With this score you won't get any descent college.

Hi Shaik, since you hold experience in healthcare industry pursuing PGDM in healthcare will be a sensible decision. GIM offers PGDM (HCM) also. With your background, there is a high likelihood of you getting a call from GIM for GD-PI.

Hi...

I need to clarify first: are you asking about admission to Chandigarh University for B.Tech/B.E, or admission to a medical/paramedical course (like B.Sc Nursing, MBBS, BPT, etc.)

The marks required and exam rules differ a lot depending on the stream.

Chandigarh University follows a holistic admission approach, giving importance to both Class 12 performance and JEE Main scores, depending on the route chosen. For JEE-qualified students, the JEE score primarily determines merit-based scholarships and priority counseling, while Class 12 marks ensure eligibility verification. For students not appearing in JEE, Class 12 performance, particularly in PCM subjects, becomes the primary eligibility criterion, alongside CUCET scores for CSE programs. This dual-focus system allows students with strong 12th marks but no JEE score to secure admission, while rewarding JEE participants with merit a

Yes, for B.E. admission at Chandigarh University, students must meet the basic eligibility criteria of Class 12, irrespective of their JEE score. Generally, candidates should have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one additional relevant subject. The minimum percentage requirement is as per regulatory norms and may vary slightly by program, but JEE scores alone do not override academic eligibility. Even for students applying with JEE Main 2026 ranks for scholarship consideration, meeting the 12th standard eligibility is mandatory.
