Dear aspirant,
Please note that MBA is a huge investment of time and money and you do it generally once. Hence, try to get the best college you can. I am sure that with better and more focused preparation, you can get into the 80 percentile tier which will enable you decent schools. In India, only the top 30-35 colleges are considered worthy to join and at your percentile, none of them will accept you. Hence, my advise would be to re-take the CAT. Also, apply for MAT as some decent B-Schools. Though, if you must take admission this year, go for the tier 3 colleges like Vellore, Balaji, GL Bajaj, JIMS, etc. -
One thing I can tell you. Getting into IIMS with this 54.11 percentile is a difficult task. Most IIMs look for candidates above 98 percentile. Some good colleges for this score are as follows:
1.SJ
2.Christ University
3.Vellore University
4.CMS Jain
5.Welingkar
6.IFIM
7.IBS
The most important thing which you should look while selecting a college is your willingness to study on that campus. You can select one from the above. Best of luck.
