Difference between m.sc in chemistry and m.sc in applied chemistry
I have seen many universities are offering m.sc in applied chemistry but not in chemistry. I wonder if both the degrees are same or different. If they are not the same then which one is preferable and of more value?

Pure chemistry like the way it is termed, refers to the study of only pure theory of chemistry, e.g. Organic Chemistry, Inorganic chemistry, Physical chemistry etc. Pure Chemistry aims to seek more answers to academia questions and to enlarge the pool of information that previous chemists already have at hand.
Applied chemistry, is often considered as a bridge between theoretical chemistry and chemical engineering (large scale-process industries).
