Do I choose Thapar Institute over amity university or lpu? As I got to know from my friend that thapar institute is one of the best private!

Well, as in my opinion both the university are good. But overall LPU is better in every term. They have the best placements, infrastructure, opportunities, exposure, facilities, and many other things which we students dream of. U is among the top 200 universities in the world (SDGs). According to the NIRF-2020 rankings, LPU is among the top-100 universities in both the overall and university categories. LPU offers more than 200+ courses in one single campus. It has high-tech hostels, departments, library auditoriums, labs, etc. LPU has been ranked among the top institutions in India for many of its disciplines by NIRF ranking 2021. LPU is 12th in Architecture, 24th in Law and 23rd in Pharmacy, 37th in Business Management, 66th in Engineering, and 62nd in Universities across India. LPU received an Employability award by Aspiring Mind in 2020 for the best-placement Institute in India. -LPU is ranked 10th best university for Training and Placement in 2019 by Knowledge Review. The methods of teaching and learning are different from other universities. Faculty members are topmost Universities like IIM, IIT, IIIT NIT, etc. Plus there are most importantly placement classes given to us. In which we students are trained. Taught different skills for placement. They're trained for interviews, GD Mock drives, etc. LPU has also set the bar for the highest placement record, more than 600 offers have been extended alone by Fortune 500 companies. One of the top selectors, Schneider Electrical, which hires from only 21 Institutes of the country like IITs and NITs, has preferred only one private university, that is, LPU to select its students. Both the universities are good. LPU adopts new technologies faster than anyone, they update their curriculum even after each semester by taking feedback from the students and also to meet the latest standards. LPU focuses on practical knowledge a lot, they have high tech labs and dedicated MAC labs for iOS development, each core subject has a different practical subject for it. They give you a very good amount of training before you go into campus placements. Try not to miss those classes. They will help you in getting better placements. After all, all we need is a decent place with good exposure. Certifications from industries, Hackathons and workshops, Guest lectures, Regular educational trips, Real life live projects, Community projects etc. All are essential and integral parts of the curriculum. Besides core curricula you'll also get subjects like communication, verbal, analytical skills and soft skills to improve personality and employability and be more productive. Also in today's world knowledge and education is not only based on textbooks but also on the outside world, thinking out of the box and overall learning that's why LPU offers their students to participate in lot of activities and events, the environment of LPU is very good and the academics tasks of LPU are so well planned that even in a course like Engineering you'll be able to manage time for exploring other things. You'll get many opportunities like coding events, hackathons and a lot more in LPU so that you can improve your skills. You will be able to achieve various certifications, which will help you in getting better placements. Talking about Placements : Placements at LPU have always been good, LPU has set the bar very high due to its record breaking placements. Students of LPU get one of the best pay packages, in all the disciplines. LPU has become a go to destination for companies to hire quality students.

According to me Thapar institute is best for one to succeed in life. As it has amazing placement cell and also good teachers who don't teach only subjects but also tell us how to secure future.

I won't say that Thapar is bad, but here's why I would choose LPU if I were you. My vote would go for LPU because when these three are compared side by side keeping in mind all the facts like placements, campus life, exposure, diversity, crowd, infrastructure, LPU stands out to be the best. I am very near to completing my 2nd year here and I can firmly say it is far better than Thapar and Amity in all aspects. Placement here isn't like anywhere else. Near to about 600 companies visit LPU every year with around 50% of them offering dream packages. And as far as the rankings are concerned LPU is now among the TOP 25 Institutes in India to be recognised for promoting Innovation and Entrepreneurship by MHRD, Government of India. It is also ranked amongst the TOP 100 Indian Universities and Colleges in the overall category by NIRF. The exposure that you will get here is also incomparable. Talking about diversity, you'll not only find students from different parts of India but also from 40+ countries as well making it a completely different world in itself. Moving on to infrastructure and sports at LPU, they are just great at LPU. In sports, you will have almost all the sports from swimming, archery to multiple basketball courts, etc. And since LPU offers 200+ programs it is a really good choice when it comes to your higher studies be it for Undergraduate level, postgraduate, or Ph.D. level. Faculty members are highly qualified, most of the faculty members have done their Ph.D. and others are pursuing, They have at least a minimum of 5 years of experience and ample amount of knowledge, both theoretical and practical knowledge. They are cooperative and whenever you need their help they are ready to help you out. The faculty recruited by the university are only either experienced or alumni of NIT's or IIT's, Iims.
