    Hi Achanta, a 71% in B.Tech is a decent aggregate. However any university/college in the USA assess the applicants for an MS in Automobile engineering also with respect to their GRE of 310+, projects done in the B.Tech, paper presentations, etc., As the number of seats per university is less, the competition is extremely high.
