Do I have any chance to get admission? Should I pay the deposit amount of Rs.1 lakh? I have been placed in the 2nd merit list for PGDM.

    YES. AS PER MY KNOWLEDGE some of my friends got totally on second merit list and I don't think so that they paid deposit amount. any way ALL THE BEST

    You have a chance, which purely depends over the response of first merit list shortlists. As per the trend last year a few students did got through the second merit list.

    After paying 1L, you will get the wait list number. If the wait list no. is decent , then you can expect a fair chance of conversion. Good Luck

    If people from the first list back out from the admissions, you definitely have a chance to getting through. Mostly, every year, there are some people who back out and people from the second list get pushed up. All the best with it, and the payment is, of course, dependent on your discretion as to whether or not you want to take admission in GIM :)

GIM CAT cutoff 2024 has been concluded and as per the available data, the cutoff differs as per the PGDM specialisatons for the open AI category candidates. Wherein, the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM was the most competitive course with a Last Round percentile of 95 for the General AII India category students

Considering the past three years trend, the CAT cutoff remained consistent for GIM for open category. As per the GIM CAT cutoff 2024, the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM cutoff stood at 95 for CAT for the General AI category candidates. However, for other PGDM specialisations, it stood at 98.5 in 2024. So, the expected can be same for separate PGDM specialisation. Further, the GIM cutoff 2025 is yet to be released.
