Do I need to write any entrance test to get admission in LPU, Delhi for a Diploma course in IT?

I qualified my 10th & 12th from CBSE board and have scored above 68% in 10th & 85%+ in 12th.

  • Anand, LPU has no branch in Delhi or anywhere. It has just one campus which is in Phagwara, Punjab. You have not specified the course you are interested in.If you fulfill the eligibility of the course you are interested in, you can get admission in LPU.

    Diploma programs don't need any entrance exam to get into, however the LPU NEST exam can still act as scholarships exam. There are various Diploma programs on offer at LPU in the fields of :
    Engineering
    Management
    Architecture
    MLT/ Paramedical Sciences
    Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam)
    Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10th (with Mathematics, Science and English) or equivalent. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium.     Firstly, LPU is a single campus university situated in Phagwara Punjab. In Delhi there is a camp office which helps the students in the proceeding of admissions. Also, in the situation of Covid-19, LPU has relaxed their eligibility norms. Based on your 12th you can go for B.Tech programme, the eligibility criteria for this is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or In case student scored more than or equal to 90% in 10+2, or 90 percentile in JEE Mains, then LPU NEST will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission.     There is single campus in Punjab only. For taking admission in any programme, eligibility criteria needs to be qualified for the same. Refer the official website for more details on the same.
