For getting good placements, a candidate must be trained w.r.t the new-age skills. And for that, a good B-school with unique training methods and an industry-oriented curriculum is very essential. There are very good B-schools in India but as far as I know, Pune Institute of Business Management is one of the best B-schools in India. I am not sure about other management colleges, but many of my friends have done their MBA/PGDM and are placed in the Big 4 consulting firms. They often share experiences with me.
