Does Annamalai University offer scholarships?

<p><span lang="EN-GB">Candidates seeking admission to Annamalai University can avail of Government Scholarships. To avail of these scholarships, candidates need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria set by the University. Given below are the different types of scholarships offered at Annamalai University:&nbsp; </span></p><ol start="1" type="1"><li><strong><span lang="EN-GB">First Graduate Tuition Fee Concession</span></strong><span lang="EN-GB">:&nbsp;Under this scheme, the government of Tamil Nadu will grant tuition fee concessions to the candidates who will become the first graduate in a family. From the year 2013-14 onwards the tuition fee concession for first graduates has also been extended to the students of Annamalai University.&nbsp;</span></li><li><strong><span lang="EN-GB">Post Matric Scholarship</span></strong><span lang="EN-GB">:&nbsp;Under this category, the Government has ordered to grant of Post Matric Scholarship to SC/SCA/ST candidates, whose parental annual income is less than INR 2.50 Lacs per annum and for SC/SCA converted Christians whose parental annual income is less than INR 2 Lacs per annum.</span></li><li><strong><span lang="EN-GB">Higher Education Special Scholarship</span></strong><span lang="EN-GB">:&nbsp;This scholarship is only eligible for the hostel students belonging to SC / SCA / ST and Converted Christian categories, whose annual income from all sources should not exceed more than INR 2.50 Lacs per annum.</span></li><li><strong><span lang="EN-GB">BC/MBC/DNC Categories Scholarship</span></strong><span lang="EN-GB">:&nbsp;This is valid for students belonging to BC/MBC/DNC categories whose parent&rsquo;s income from all sources is not more than INR 2 Lacs per annum.</span></li></ol><p><strong><span lang="EN-GB">NOTE:&nbsp;</span></strong><em><span lang="EN-GB">The mentioned scholarship details are as per past years' data.
