No university can promise 100% placements because it depends on a student's skills, hard work, and willingness to learn. However, Chandigarh University does a great job of helping students get placed through its Department of Career Planning & Development (DCPD). This department supports students with resume building, interview prep, job fairs, and workshops, making sure they're ready for the job market.
Top companies, like Walt Disney, offer internships, and students have landed amazing job offers. The highest salary packages have gone up to ?1.7 crore for international jobs and ?54.75 LPA for domestic roles.

While no university can truly promise 100% placements, Chandigarh University comes very close with its strong placement support and industry connections. I've seen it firsthand—there are over 900+ top companies that visit the campus every year, including Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte, IBM, and Samsung. What makes CU stand out is the way it trains students for placements—right from the first year, there are personality development sessions, technical workshops, mock interviews, and resume-building help.

I don't think there is any university that guarantees placement because it totally depends on students. There are always some students who don't want placements and prefer to start their own business, join family businesses, or go for higher studies. But for sure, Chandigarh University gives all the best opportunities. That's why it has a record of the highest number of companies visiting for placements. This achievement even earned them a place in the Limca Book of Records in North India.

The university has tie-ups with top companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and IBM, bringing in great job offers. It also provides skill developme

Chandigarh University (CU) admissions are generally based on CUCET scores for most of the courses. Students need to appear for the test or submit scores of any other accepted exams as stated by the university. Hence, in some cases, you may get admission in CU without CUCET. The CUCET test is also a scholarship test and if you want to get the scholarship benefits offered by the university based on CUCET scores, then you will have to appear for the exam.

The cutoff changes every year and we are in 2025, so you should know the cutoff for NCHMCT JEE 2025. For NCHMCT JEE 2025, the closing rank for Chandigarh University is around 11195 for the B.Sc. (Hons.) Hotel and Hospitality Management course. This number comes from the latest available round-wise data and gives a basic idea of the expected range. If we see older figures, the 2022 cutoff stayed close to 10201 as the opening rank in Round 1 and about 10382 as the closing rank in Round 2.

Yes, that's one of the main reasons. Chandigarh university's consistent performance in the QS Asia University Rankings has made it a popular choice among students. Being ranked as the No.1 private university in India for three years in a row gives students confidence that they're joining a university recognised for its academic quality, global research, and strong placements. These rankings reflect real things students care about like how Well graduates are placed (employer reputation), how strong the teaching and research are (academic reputation), and how connected the university is globally (international research network).

Yes, employer reputation is one of the main reasons Chandigarh University performs so well in the QS Asia University Rankings. This measure reflects how much companies value and trust the university's graduates, and CU has consistently improved in this area. Over the years, more top national and international companies have been visiting CU's campus for placements, which shows that its students are highly employable and industry-ready.
