Does FMS consider sectional cutoff or overall percentile is ok?

  • Dear Rigzin,
    FMS doesn't have any sectional cut-off in the selection criteria. But this year, each section will have different weightages which will be used to arrive at a aggregate score.
    Below are the weightages given to each section.
    VA - 40%
    QA - 30 %
    DI/LR - 30%

    Hello Rigzin,
    Your sectional percentile would be considered for the shortlisting. Following is the weightage given to each section:
    FMS Delhi will award the highest weightage of 40% to VARC section in its shortlisting criteria for MBA 2016-18 batch while the other 2 sections on Quant and DILR will have an equal weightage of 30%. In the final selection process, female candidates will be awarded 3% extra marks to promote gender diversity.

    Hi,
    FMS does not consider sectional cutoffs. Only the overall percentile is considered for being shortlisted in FMS.

FMS Delhi MBA cutoff information may not be available in the public domain. For the last three years, the institute has assigned 98 as a score in CAT to get admission into the MBA course. However, this may vary.

MS Executive MBA programme has 200 seats in total. Among those, 80 are General category, 30 SC, 15 ST, 55 OBC, and 20 are for EWS candidates. Reservations are as per the rules of the University of Delhi from time to time. Supernumerary categories PWD, CW, WT, WNT, and Orphan Quota also apply.
