Does having poor academics hamper in getting finally admission to FMS even after scoring a very high percentile in CAT 2016?

Poor academic score does not hanper your chances of admission in FMS unless you can justify getting those marks. In all, it is not a criteria of selection into FMS -
Hello Samul, FMS doesn't give weightage to your past academic scores or to your work experience. Thus, they won't play a direct role in your selection. So, yes it is possible to get into FMS. Last year the cutoff was 98.54 to get a call for interview round. A final merit list is prepared on the basis of your CAT score, extempore and PI marks, on the basis of which final admissions are offered. All the best.
