Yes, the university mandates students to submit proof of English language proficiency to be eligible for admission at Nanyang Technological University. The required scores for IELTS are as follows:
- TOEFL iBT: Overall score of 90 or higher
- IELTS Academic: Overall score of 6.0 or higher (with minimum 6.0 in writing)
- PTE Academic: Overall score of 55 or higher
- SAT: Overall score of 1250 or higher
