    Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Bikaner offers PhD programme in six specialisations to candidates who aspire to study research in the disciplines of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry. The minimum course duration of the programme is three years.

    Selection criteria: Final admission is based on the scores obtained in PPEE conducted by RAJUVAS, followed by a PI round. The following categories are exempted from appearing for PPEE:

    • ICAR nominee seats
    • SRF of ICAR/foreign nationals sponsored by ICAR/GOI qualified candidates
    • Candidates of the members in-service at RAJUVAS

    Master’s degree in related subject from RAJUVAS Bikaner, or an examination declared equivalent with not less than 6.5/10 or equivalent OGPA/percentage for general category candidates and 6/10 or equivalent OGPA/percentage for SC/ ST/OBC category

    OR

    MVSc degree in Veterinary Physiology/ Veterinary Biochemistry and Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Obstetrics and Gynecology/ Animal Genetics and Breeding/ Animal Nutrition

    OR

    MTech/ MSc in Biotechnology or Animal Biotechnology will be eligible
