The University of Bologna offers financial help to international students in the form of study grants of up to EUR 11,000 (Unibo Action 2) or tuition fee waivers (Unibo Action 1). The study grants and the tuition fee waivers are assigned based on SAT and GRE, and some TOLC tests, for one academic year.

- Check the eligibility requirements such as academics, proficiecny in Japanese and any other additional requirements such as submission of application forms, letters of recommendation, age and health certificates, etc.

You may have to sit in written tests and interviews, which are usually conducted at the Japanese embassy of the applicant's home country. Selected students receive an award that covers tuition fees, living expenses, and travel costs.

No, it is not always necessary that international students get some financial aid. The competition is usually very tough and only a few percentage international students can get through. Thus, international students should have good reasons, proper paperwork and quality scholarship essays to prove their merit for getting financial aid.

Yes, GIBS does provide scholarships and financial support to students. If you have good entrance exam scores like CAT or MAT, or a strong academic background, you can get some fee benefits. The college mainly looks at your overall performance and merit.

There are also a few special cases where students can get additional support. The process is simple — you share your details during admission, and the team guides you through it. Overall, GIBS tries to support deserving students and make education more affordable.
