From which college I have higher chance of getting a call GIM-Goa, Fore, Somiaya and Welingkar?

Asked about Goa Institute of Management - Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)

B.Tech-67.8%, 12th-68.6%,10th-70.8%, XAT 80-85, CAT 80-85 and CMAT 90. Also, as GIM fees is higher than all other mentioned colleges, I would not prefer GIM only and only if other colleges provides approximately same exposure. Consider I performed same in all GD/PI for suggestion.

You have a fair chance of getting a call from Welingkar as they consider an overall score of GDPI, academics and your percentile. They also provide a lot of opportunities as there are many student exchange programs and also they have Global Citizenship Programme which is offered only in Welingkar. There are many foreign firms as well which give placements.

At these scores, it is really hard to get a call from GIM. However, welingkar will give you one.

Firstly, it is a bit too early for you to predict your scores in these entrance exams. I think you shouldn't just assume.
Secondly, considering you have all three colleges in your basket (not considering Welingkar at all), going for GIM would be your best bet. In terms of exposure, overall development, learning inside and outside the classroom, placement record etc. GIM outweighs the rest in my opinion.

Looking at your profile and academics, FORE looks the most likely convert. Though, you might have an outside chance of Welingkar and KJ Somaiya. Also, if you have decent work experience ranking wise, KJ Somaiya is ever so slightly superior than both Welingkar and FORE, though there is no dearth of exposure at Welingkar Institute. If you can't convert KJ Somaiya, then surely Welingkar is the next best option. FORE would follow it. GIM though good is an expensive affair.
    All the best.

    Hi Mohd,
According to the details shared by you, there is a decent chance of getting a call from GIM provided you clear the cutoff of the entrance tests. The scores in CAT and XAT that you are expecting are in line with the cut-off last year but the cutoff changes every year, so we cannot say anything until the cutoffs are announced. Though the college fees is on the higher side, you will get a good exposure at GIM and moreover, it is upon us as to how we make the optimum use of the opportunities given to us. And regarding other colleges, I am not in a position to comment about them. You would have to speak to someone from those college

Depends on the cut-off for colleges. For GIM in 2017 admissions, it was CAT: 85, XAT: 80, CMAT: 93
