Hi sir, if I am qualified for IAF post through AFCAT then can I join UPSC civil service in later years after cracking UPSC CSE. ?

5 years agoHello Satya Narayan, once you take admission in the air force then you just cannot live as per your wishes. You need to resign and your resignation letter needs to be accepted by the IAF authorities. I am afraid that getting selected in UPSC civil services examination is perhaps not an option that I would agree to give you release. If you are confident then I suggest that you should first appear for civil services examination and then once again crack AFCAT in case you wish. Best wishes to you.
