How about M.A. Economics from LPU?

University does offer M.Sc. Economics. The eligibility for course is 50% in Graduation (Any stream). The Master of Economics is a postgraduate master's degree in economics comprising training in economic theory, econometrics, and/or applied economics. The course highlights include :- Education is imparted under semester system for improved learning. Emphasis on Workshops, Seminars, and Case Based Teaching. Application-oriented assignments and examination system. The students are encouraged to undertake assignments/project work from the industry and work on finding possible solutions to integrate their theoretical knowledge with industrial practices. Application oriented assignments and projects based upon databases like CAPITALINE, online library database PROQUEST and JSTOR are undertaken to sharpen research and analytical skills. In addition to the regular course work, specially designed workshop courses like Workshop on data analysis using statistical software are offered to M.Sc. (Hons. ). Economics students to promote practical implication of various courses which train students for research and other fields. Active participation of students in various clubs like Markophiles, Finance, Odisha Club, Operations & IT, Strategy, Commerce, Economics, Society for Management Learning (Student organisation), etc. Is encouraged to expose them to broader competitions. Events like Open House Discussions on contemporary issues, Business quiz, Group discussion on Current Affairs etc. Are organized by students and faculty managed clubs on regular basis. Economics students who have studied at LPU are working in reputed institutions like PwC, Doordarshan Kendra Meghalaya, The Telegraph, Meghalaya Basin Development Authority and that too at a very good profile.

LPU offers M.Sc. Economics (Hons) course. HI Dear, All these institutes are private institutes and trying to set an example of providing best education to the students. Nowadays, it is a trend that institutes get students almost all across the country. It due to all these institutes, Punjab state has started feeling proud to be a best education hub. Although all these Institutes are best in there zones but an MBA, in Mittal School of Business, LPU is one of the Unique course because of the salient features of the LPU. Being an Education Consultant I know about each and every University but LPU has set a benchmarks to all the other institutions. What if it is: 1) Curriculum, 2) Industrial Training's, 3) Practical case studies, 4) Soft skills and Professionalism, 5) Exposure to the candidates, 6) Diversified Culture, 7) Back up support to start-ups, supporting Entrepreneurship.
