The School of Fashion Designing of Lovely Professional University is doing extraordinary works in the field of Designing. They are conducting Fashion Shows regularly for the students. It gives a great chance to the students to show their talent in front of a big audience. Prominent designers are also taking part in the events. So, surely it is a big opportunity university is providing to the students in LPU. The best thing I like about LPU about placement is, they provide placement classes to all the students from the very first year who opt for the placement. With the help of this, they can prepare themselves for placements till the pre-final year because the companies will start visiting for the recruitment of students from a pre-final year. Some of the students go for internships also in their final year. She told me Study tours are an integral part of curriculum with visitation of architectural and prominent sites provides maximum exposure to learn technicalities of architecture. She said. Fashion designing is a branch having a lot of scope and in LPU, they give a lot of exposure to students, through guest lecturers from industry top shots, various in campus and out campus fashion shows, and also they have their own store where the students creations are showcased and sold. The school provides a platform for students to experiment with creative designs, patterns, fabrics and colours. Live with fashion events, visits by renowned national and international fashion designers, innovation and creativity is fostered in the students at every step. They are encouraged to experiment with different materials to create conceptual wear and accessories. Also Students are exposed to fashion shows, craft fairs, industry internships and craft documentation. Hi, There is 100% Placement every year where students are placed with retail, luxury, export, buying, craft sector, fashion houses, etc. Industry interface with leading brands for summer training, full-term optional/ compulsory internships, On-job training, study tours, and skill enhancement events and workshops are extensively integrated in the LPU curricula, to expose students to real work environments and provide them an opportunity to apply their learning in real life situations. One of my close friends just finished b design degree in fashion at LPU and now she joined Satya Paul ( In campus placement ). As per her feedback, LPU is one of the best design schools in India. LPU follows the total practical in creative Approach from designing to merchandising. The curriculum is so well benchmarked with the foreign universities which help the students to work on Creative exercises and design, Textures, and fabrics. National and international Education tours, Semester exchange options give great exposure to students. Moreover, Live fashion shows and events play a vital role in Boosting motivation in students. LPU also gives exposure to dyeing, Printing, Weaving, Draping, etc. Placements are also good as LPU has a separate department of placement services that takes care of Placement drives and professional enhancement of the students.
