VIT is well known for its BTech placements. It offers good placements every year for BTech course, especially the CSE and ECE branch. According to the the unofficial online sources, the VIT Vellore CSE avearge package offered to the BTech batch 2025 stood at INR 8.13 LPA. The median package was INR 6 LPA. A total of 315 CSE students secured the salary of more than INR 20 LPA in the academic year 2024-25.
