How are the IELTS Writing tasks 1 and 2 assessed?

Whether you are answering the IELTS Writing Task 1 question or IELTS Essay question, make sure that you know the scoring criteria. IELTS Writing scoring criteria include task achievement, coherence and cohesion, lexical resource (vocabulary), and grammar. Make sure that your written piece fits all these criteria.
