Hi there Amity University is doing quite well in management studies, but it certainly isn't the best, there are a lot of better players, LPU is one of the top one. The MBA programme at LPU is a great mix of cutting edge curriculum, experiential learning pedagogy, industry interface, projects, internships and consultancies, technologies trainings and many more. The sheer size of campus and number of students provides a plethora of opportunities to students to explore their entrepreneurial skills. The multicultural intake ensures that students learn and understand cultural sensibilities which become an asset in corporate life. The most striking point however is the center for professional enhancement, the students are exposed to new ideas about personality development, professional etiquette, virtues, ethics, interpersonal and networking skills for almost full duration of the programme rather than just a few weeks of placement trainings. This inculcates these qualities in the students in much better way and go a long way into shaping the career apart from cracking the interviews. Coming to reputation, since you asked, NIRF a government agency has ranked Mittal School of business among top 50 B-schools in the country twice in a row, in some of the parameters it has even beaten most Iims and ranked no. 2 in the country ! More importantly, more than 200 companies visit the campus for recruitment of management grads only ! Which is a huge number and a big achievement. More than 97% of eligible graduates get their dream placements. It is not like any other university, you can SEE it from the first step of selection, even Iims have basic eligibility of 50% in graduation, while LPU has raised the bar to 55%. No wonder it has one of the largest intakes in the country which has over 97% placement record. The pertinent question in the mind of every student and parent is of suitable outcomes after completing their formal education. Students earn placements by performing well at academics and by displaying their entrepreneurial skill sets. They are given constant mentoring & incubation support in bringing out Start Ups and companies, because of around 30% of Post Graduate Students have started their own ventures. The rest got placements in companies of very high repute placement packages have always been exceptional for our great IB champs, many of whom have got over Rs. 21 Lacs per annum. There is no dearth of opportunity and our stars always achieve their best in whatever they pursue as per their skills, profile and potentials.

Not as great as they're made out to be. Every business school worth their salt will display their placement reports proudly on their website. This is a proven tactic that brings in more candidates during the admissions in India for MBA courses. A quick google search shows that there is no placement report on the website of Amity Business School. The closest I came to finding a placement report was this data (almost 3 years old) on the Amity International Business School. It is the department in Amity that conducts the MBA in International Business. As you can see, the average package hovers around 67 lakhs per annum, which is just about average.
