Harcourt Butler is the second best engineering college in the North Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, next only to IIT Kanpur. Hence, the placements at the college are pretty respectable for all the streams. Now, when one does a relative comparison the average CTC for mechanical is lower than other branches like CSE, ECE and it. The average CTC this year for mechanical was about 5lpa.
