How are the placements of B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Institute of Technology, Nirma University?

Hello, Lets talk about the branch Mechanical Engineering from NIRMA University, The department has highly qualified faculty members, state of art laboratories and infrastructures. Continuing Education programs and customized training/ workshops are being organized for industry personnel on regular basis. Various Funded Research Projects and Consultancy projects are also taken up. Establishment of National Thermal Insulation Testing Laboratory is another major important milestone achieved by the department And as far as the placements are concerned,Talking about the year 2015, The following Giants had visited our campus for Mech. Tata motors Linde L&T Reliance GSFC Essar GNFC Eicher Maruti Mahindra and Mahindra Placement was almost 90% for eligible candidates. There were lot of other companies too. Avg. Package : 5 lpa. Also, students of NIRMA appear for SAE-BAJA (All India Racing Competition) and there they are placed during the event itself in the auto manufacturing giants like John Deer, GM, Ford, Tata, Maruti Suzuki, etc.

Mechanical engineering is among the best engineering courses in India with good scopes in every term. Talking about the Institute of Technology, Nirma University, Ahmedabad, It is the best engineering institute with all high tech facilities and education. So it is good to do mechanical engineering from Nirma University. Other good institutes for mechanical engineering are PDPU, Gandhinagar and L. D. College of Engineering. Placements for mechanical engineering at Nirma University, Ahmedabad are very good. Around 85% placement is seen in mechanical engineering branch. Big techno giants such as L&T, Reliance, Adani, Wipro, Blue Star, TCS, Winjit, Cognizant, Dell, Infosys, Loginext, IQR, Airtel, Deloitte Samsung, Qualcomm, Aditya Birla Group , Vendanta Group etc. take students from here. So it provides good placements in top level companies. The average package is around 10 to 12 LPA.
