How are the placements of B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from JSS Academy of Technical Education, JSS Mahavidyapeetha?

JSS Academy of Technical Education, JSS Mahavidyapeetha is one of the best private colleges in Uttar Pradesh. It is well known for its facilities provided. The infrastructure of the university, sports complex hospital and faculty members are very good. Due to the location of the college, there are many companies that visit JSS Academy of Technical Education, JSS Mahavidyapeetha for the placement of mechanical engineering students. There are many core companies that come for the placements. They are Tata, Maruti, BHEL and many other companies. Last year, for placements, 120 companies visited the campus for placements and about 82% of the total students of mechanical engineering were placed. The average package of mechanical engineering students is about 3.5 LPA. The highest package of mechanical engineering student is about 12 LPA. The placements in JSS College are better than other private colleges in NCR. There are also many non-core companies that come for the placement in JSS Academy of Technical Education, JSS Mahavidyapeetha: HCL, Wipro, TCS, Kronos, ION Trade, etc., come to JSS almost every year. JSSATEN comes in one of the top private colleges in Uttar Pradesh. The admission to the college is done through UP-SEE exam rankings. ME is offered to those who have good ranks UP-SEE exam. The course curriculum is modern and updated as per current trends. The faculty is good too. In terms of placements companies like Motherson Sumi, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Adobe, Kronos, HCL, Samsung, Birla Soft, etc. have come in the past and have offered good packages ranging from 4 to 8 lakhs. The location of JSS is at the prime location of Noida, lot of companies are around the college campus. Campus is spread at 1 km long stretch with all kind of lab facilities and there is software Technology Park inside the campus too. Library is fully air conditioned and offer a wide variety of books. There is proper sports field for enjoying physical activities along with indoor badminton courts and TT tables. Along with these Zealicon, the annual techno-cultural festival takes place each year for showcasing students talent, where there is lot of participation from NCR colleges. JSS is near to MADE EASY coaching centre for those who wish to prepare for GATE, PSUs and IES.

For mechanical engineering students , job opportunities are limited in JSS Noida. Very few Mechanical core companies visit JSSATE Noida campus for recruitment. Most of the mechanical students of JSSATE prepare for GATE, government exams, CAT ( MBA aspirants), SSC , GRE (for master in USA or in other foreign countries), Indian Civil Services, ISRO, RRB (for railway engineering jobs).etc list is long because there are more than 180 students in final year mechanical branch . Few companies which recruited Mechanical final year students on campus are Timex, Wipro, Anglo- Eastern, Indian Navy,. etc. Salary ranged between Rs 2 to Rs 8 lakhs. There are many who got placed off campus and there salary also ranged between 2.5 to 6 lakhs Indian rupees. Few students went abroad to pursue masters in top universities. Some went to IITies for M.tech. So at the end most of the students settle down in good places but it depends on one's hard work and persistence.
