How are the placements of B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Pune?

Well, when you are talking about Symbiosis it is a well-renowned institute in the country which caters to various courses including engineering, management, and science. Talking about mechanical engineering it is one of the finest institutes to study in and one can expect to be on the top after completing the degree from Symbiosis. Well, a mechanical branch is the top most branch of engineering with the complex handling of the machine automatically developed the design and research and development in the filled with machine mostly. So if you are from Symbiosis then you can be a top getter in the career. The area in the career is:-Design, R&D, production, manufacturing etc. The companies visiting the campus are:-TATA, Indian Navy, Nissan, ISGEC, Bombardier, Maruti Suzuki for core branch and HDFC TCS for support activity. The minimum package can range from Rs 3.5 lakh per annum and highest can be around Rs 7 lakh offered rarely to a mechanical student. As compared to CSE/IT mechanical guys can not get that much package but after the experience, they are at the top position. I wish all the candidate luck.

Hi, Symbiosis Institute of Technology is a constituent of Symbiosis International University. It was established in the year 2008. It is a very good college, so the placements of mechanical engineering are quite good, but not that good as of CSE/IT and ECE. Hey there, As per the sources available, I found that the placement scenario for mechanical engineers from Symbiosis Institute of Technology is not up to the mark. The college seems not to have proper labs with equipped instruments and machines that are very important for a mechanical engineer to develop their knowledge practically. The college only exercises in building their theoretical knowledge (curriculum). Talking about placement stats, there was a total of 50-55% students of mechanical batch placed with highest 0f 6lpa and lowest of 1.5 LPA. There was also a Japanese company that came this year. But, these placement stats are not appreciable if you are looking for mechanical engineering degree and aiming for a highly paid job. So, I would suggest you to look at other colleges if u want to do mechanical engineering only SIT is not good. However, for other courses like computer science and electronics and communication engineering, SIT is just good not the perfect. I hope this helps you.
