Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like roads, bridges, canals, dams and buildings.
BVP, Pune is not very much known for its civil branch as less no of core civil companies came there for placements so most of the students shift towards IT companies.

Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University College of Engineering, Pune is far better than any other college in Maharastra state which has pathetic education and absolutely no consideration for development of skills. Most departments have adequate labs and equipment. The whole college was refurbished in 2013, so everything is in good condition. The placement scenario is better, as there are companies coming for each and every branch. If you have potential, you will get a good job in your branch.
