Greetings from Shiksha!! Computer Science Engineering is among the best course of engineering in every terms. It stands first when it comes to the talk of Placements among all the Engineering Branches. The placements at Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology of Computer Science Engineering is really good. The placement is almost 80%.The average package is around Rs 4 to Rs 5 lakhs per annum. Since CSE is an evergreen field, the placement of this branch will increase with the good amount of packages.Companies like Wipro, Infosys and L&T are the bulk recruiters. Other than these companies, many companies like HCL Technologies, DELL etc. takes students from here. For placements, the credit goes to training and placement cell department of NMIT. The placement ratio of NMIT is almost 80 % and in future, it will be like this only for computer science engineering and other top engineering fields. And In Upcoming years Institute placement will increase due to the growth in IT Sector in our country.

Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology is located in Yelahanka, Bangalore and is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technical University and has been approved as an autonomous college by University Grants Commission (UGC). Every year the no. of students getting placed is increasing. Last year, a recognized company Microsoft came to our college and took 6 students of ISE & CSE. Many more recruiters comes to our college, some of them are Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, L&T, Sonata, Gdata, Hp, Dell, Symantec, Indian Army, etc. The highest package of the year 2015 is 18 lakhs. The average package of our college is 3 to 4 lakhs. There were around 30 to 50 companies that visited our college for placements. 90% of the CSE students were placed in these companies. Companies like Microsoft, Yahoo, Dell, Wipro, Infosys, TechM, Capgemini, Tesco, LnT, TCS, etc. have recruited a good amount of able students. The college has an alumni group and also active group on facebook where we can share our ideas or concerns. Coming to seniors, yes they were very helpfull as they promote their juniors to take part in college fest, refer them which books to go through and also help in job opportunities outside campus. Alumni provide very good support overall in all facets.
